The money loop
Money in How to Fish comes from selling creatures. Early on, you sell raw crabs and small fish. Mid-game, cooking adds a 1.5x multiplier. Late-game, trick-shot multipliers and high-value rare variants push individual sales into five or six figures. The 'Rich! Millionaire' achievement requires selling a single item worth 100,000 or more.
Cooking: the best early multiplier
After defeating the Blue Shark on Desert Island, the Grill activates and an NPC gives you a lighter. From that point on, cook every valuable catch before selling. The 1.5x multiplier applies to the cooked creature's sell value and is the single most reliable income boost in the game. Do not cook low-value bait fish unless you need the achievement for eating burnt food.
Trick shots and kill-score multipliers
Stylish kills raise your kill-score multiplier, which increases the payout of a kill. The 'Impressive' achievement requires a 5x multiplier. To farm money, weaken a high-value target, then land a trick shot or 360 no-scope for the finishing blow. This is risky but can turn a normal catch into a major payout.
Boss and rare farming
Boss trophies are needed for quests, but bosses also drop sellable meat. Once a boss is no longer needed for progression, repeat fights for income and rare variant attempts. Rare variants of common creatures also sell for much more than their normal versions. Farm the highest-value creature you can kill quickly on your current island.
Gambling: slot machine and roulette
The game includes a slot machine and roulette for doubling money. The 'GOLD GOLD GOLD' achievement requires unlocking a legendary skin from the slot machine, and 'All in' requires betting on green and winning at roulette. Gambling is high risk; only bet money you can afford to lose, and never gamble quest-critical items.

1) Always cook valuable catches after unlocking the Grill. 2) Upgrade the Knife/Shotgun so fights are fast. 3) Use the right lure to avoid wasted casts. 4) Land trick shots on high-value targets. 5) Repeat accessible bosses once progression no longer needs them. 6) Gamble only with spare cash.
